Server Rules

Treat everyone with respect. No harassment, discrimination, racism, sexism, homophobia, or hate speech of any kind will be tolerated in or out of character.

The use of hacks, mods, exploits, or any third-party software to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate permanent ban.

All communication in global channels must be in English. Other languages are allowed in private channels, proximity chat, or within your organization.

Advertising other servers, Discord servers, social media, or external services without staff permission is not allowed.

Character names must be realistic and appropriate. No famous people, meme names, or offensive names. Use proper first and last names.

All players must be at least 16 years old to play on ReLife Roleplay. Maturity and serious roleplay is expected.

Always remain in character while in the city. Breaking character ruins immersion for others. Use /ooc sparingly for out-of-character communication when absolutely necessary.

Act realistically in dangerous situations. If held at gunpoint, outnumbered, or in a life-threatening situation, you must comply with demands as you would in real life. Your character fears death.

Do not kill other players without a valid roleplay reason. All hostile actions must have proper RP buildup and valid justification. Killing for no reason is prohibited.

Using your vehicle as a weapon to injure or kill players without proper RP reason is prohibited. Accidental bumps happen, but intentional ramming is not allowed.

If you are killed or respawn at the hospital, you forget everything from your previous life including who killed you and why. Do not return to the area where you died for 15 minutes.

Do not force actions on other players that they cannot react to or deny. Allow others to respond and participate in roleplay scenarios. Example: "/me takes his gun" without allowing response is powergaming.

Do not use information obtained outside of roleplay (Discord, streams, OOC chat, etc.) in-game. Only use knowledge your character would realistically have through in-character interactions.

Always roleplay realistically. Unrealistic actions like jumping off buildings, ignoring injuries, or performing superhuman feats are considered Fail RP.

Disconnecting during active roleplay, especially during combat or police interactions, is prohibited. If you must leave, ensure the situation is resolved first.

All criminal activity must have proper roleplay. Provide meaningful interaction and buildup before committing crimes. No rushed or low-effort criminal RP.

You may only rob players who have valuables visible or are in situations where robbery makes sense. Do not repeatedly target the same player. Allow 30 minutes between robberies on different players.

Do not camp hospitals, police stations, garages, or other designated safe zones to commit crimes. Give players reasonable time to leave before engaging.

Hostages must be treated with RP value. They should not be your friends or gang members. Negotiations should be realistic. Maximum of 2 hostages per situation. Do not harm hostages without valid RP reason.

Gang conflicts must have valid IC reasoning and proper buildup. Random wars without RP are not allowed. Notify staff before starting large-scale conflicts.

Scamming is allowed in-character but has limits. You may not scam more than $50,000 or major assets without staff approval. Vehicle/property scams require RP buildup.

Police, EMS, and Fire departments must be treated with realistic respect. Do not interfere with active emergency situations without valid RP reason.

All emergency services personnel must have staff permission before engaging in corrupt activities. Corruption must be realistic and well-roleplayed.

Emergency services should focus on creating engaging RP scenarios rather than winning every situation. Allow criminals opportunities for RP.

All emergency services must follow their department's standard operating procedures and chain of command. Attend required training sessions.

Police should not bait criminals into committing crimes. Allow organic RP to develop naturally.

Ensure your microphone quality is clear and audible. No excessive background noise, music, or voice changers without RP context. Push-to-talk is recommended.

Radio communications should be realistic. Use proper radio etiquette and terminology. Only use radio when your character would realistically have one.

Do not spam chat, voice, or radio channels. Keep communications relevant and meaningful. Excessive trolling or annoying behavior is prohibited.

Use your in-game phone realistically. Don't use it while driving at high speeds or during active combat. Texts and calls should be in-character.

Drive according to your vehicle type. Sports cars can drive fast, but regular vehicles should be driven realistically. Obey traffic laws unless in an active pursuit or emergency.

Performing unrealistic jumps, stunts, or driving off cliffs without RP reason is prohibited. Value your vehicle and your character's safety.

Stealing vehicles requires proper RP. You cannot steal emergency vehicles or vehicles from safe zones. Give owners a chance to defend their property.

Street racing is allowed but must be done safely. Don't race in highly populated areas or create excessive danger to others.

If involved in a serious accident, roleplay injuries appropriately. Don't immediately drive away from major crashes. Call EMS if needed.

Trading in-game currency, items, or services for real money is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban for all parties involved.

Large money transfers between players require valid RP reasoning. Suspicious transfers may be investigated by staff. Do not transfer money to new characters.

Exploiting bugs or game mechanics to gain money or items unfairly is prohibited. Report any exploits to staff immediately.

If you own a business, you must actively operate it. Inactive businesses may be repossessed. Follow all business guidelines and pricing regulations.

Minor infractions will result in verbal or written warnings. Accumulating multiple warnings may lead to temporary or permanent bans.

Moderate rule violations will result in temporary bans ranging from 1 day to 30 days depending on severity and previous offenses.

Severe violations including cheating, harassment, discrimination, or repeated offenses will result in permanent bans. Some permanent bans may be appealable after 30 days.

If you believe your ban was unjust, you may submit an appeal through our Discord. Appeals must be respectful and honest. Lying in appeals will result in appeal denial.

Staff have final say in all situations. Arguing with staff decisions in-game is prohibited. If you disagree, submit a staff complaint through proper channels.

Attempting to evade a ban by using alternate accounts will result in a permanent ban on all accounts and possible blacklist from the community.
